Job Summary: Reporting to the Branch Manager - Responsible for assisting the branch manager with the overall operation of a credit union branch office and assuming the responsibility of the branch when the branch manager is absent. Position is responsible for guiding member service staff in providing quality service to members in the areas of opening new accounts, loans and other credit union products and services. Maintains a highly motivated, well trained staff. Foster relationships to maximize and strengthen member relations. Promotes a service/sales culture within the branch so that corporate objectives set by the credit union may be achieved and/or exceeded each year. Monitors key products/sales within the branch and ensures that employees are maximizing opportunities to sell products. Assist branch manager with setting sales goals for employees as well as coaching and mentoring the member service agents/advisors. Ensures annual compliance requirements are met and daily credit union policies and procedures are followed. Problem solves escalated customer service issues, competent in overcoming obstacles, finding creative options and rendering a sound solution. Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
Job Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field of study, or 2 years lending/customer service leadership experience preferred. Credit union experience is preferred. Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to lead and work well in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other work related software. Must possess strong technical, analytical, mathematical and organizational skills. Must exercise decision making and administrative skills, be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and possess good judgment and time management skills. Must perform with a high level of accuracy in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Should present a professional business image and have a high work ethic. Overall knowledge of credit union industry, Symitar software, DCCU procedures and policies preferred. Must be willing to work Saturdays and assist in other Atlanta branch locations. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
Applies knowledge of credit union systems, policies and procedures. Complies with all credit union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
