NHA has a thirty-year history of excellence partnering with parents to provide and excellent, quality, Christ-centered education in northern Henry County, Georgia, and is now seeking a part-time music teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
Minimum Requirements:
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus and a love for children Membership in an Evangelical church and willingness to share the Gospel Adherence to a Christian lifestyle A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Georgia or ACSI certification, or willingness to pursue it The ability to plan, organize, and deliver instruction in foundational subject matter The ability to manage the classroom environment to maximize learning
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement music lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels - Teach music theory, technique, and performance skills - Provide instruction in a variety of musical styles - Foster a positive and engaging learning environment - Manage student behavior and maintain classroom discipline - Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate performances and events - Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance music instruction Skills:
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in music theory, technique, and performance - Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development - Ability to effectively manage student behavior and maintain classroom discipline - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students - Experience working with both children and adults in a music education setting We look forward to joyfully ministering alongside the right candidate as we reach out to the families of northern Henry County in the education of their children.
